Igår gick science fiction-filmen Red planet på tv. Jag sneglade över axeln från mitt skrivbord, vid något tillfälle satt jag i sängen med en kopp kaffe och tittade, ibland lyssnade jag bara till den då jag gick omkring och fixade i lyan. Människorna hade med hjälp av alger lyckats skapa syre på Mars, men en dag försvann algtäcket från planeten och en trupp modiga rymdfarare skickades dit för att ta reda på varför.Jag gillar science fiction, jag gillar att bege mig till andra världar och stöta på andra varelser; om det så än handlar om tomtar, troll eller aliens, det är för mig mer intressant än det välkända och vanliga. För mig handlar det antagligen om nån typ av identifikation med det udda. Tyvärr tyckte jag inte om just Red planet, den var ju så nedrans grabbig! Ryggdunkar, känslolöst hjältemod och grabbhumor fyllde dialogerna och det är alltför vanligt inom genren. Och det är säkert så att genren riktar sig mot just grabbiga grabbar som uppskattar jargongen, men jag sitter mest och väntar på en mer djupgående dialog, på lite mer känsla. Tänk om fler science fiction-rullar kunde innehålla det, då skulle jag vara fast! Den grabbiga humorn hör inte till det udda och det ovanliga utan istället till en sfär som är lika vanlig som tröttsam.
